
Hats off to BTS, BIGBANG, and SEVENTEEN for topping the brand reputation rankings this April!
Multi-talented and celebrated K-pop boy groups BTS, BIGBANG, and SEVENTEEN are crowned as the top three male idol groups in this month’s brand reputation rankings.
The Korean Research Business Institute based the rankings on various factors including consumer participation, media, communication, and community indices analyzed by the organization. Particularly, it extracted a total of 68,556,547 data among active boy groups from March 9, 2022 to April 9, 2022.
#1 BTS
Continuously leading the brand reputation ranking is the worldwide phenomenal boy group, BTS. The septet was able to gain a brand reputation index of 13,032,735. Notably, the group has been consistently holding the No.1 spot for the 47th straight month now.
Some of the high-ranking phrases from their keyword analysis include “Grammy award,” “cover model,” and “Time magazine,” while the words “influential,” “misfire,” and “selected” are present in the group’s highest-ranking related terms.
#2 BIGBANG
Securing the second spot is YG Entertainment’s legendary boy group, BIGBANG. They were able to rise on the rankings after acquiring a brand reputation index of 7,655,526 for April. Earlier this week, the group made their highly-awaited return with the release of the digital single “Still Life.”
#3 SEVENTEEN
Coming in at third place is Pledis Entertainment’s powerhouse boy group, SEVENTEEN. The group earned a a brand reputation index of 3,264,715 this April.
Rounding up our top-five list are two boy groups from SM Entertainment. EXO, who just celebrated their 10th year anniversary , rose to fourth spot after acquiring a brand reputation index of 2,694,839. Meanwhile, NCT took over the fifth spot with a score of 2,694,839.
