The music video for BTS’ “FAKE LOVE” has surpassed 1.1 billion views!

Worldwide phenomenal boy group BTS has officially recorded their sixth music video to smash 1.1 billion views on the YouTube platform.

In the early morning of April 23, the number of YouTube views on the music video for “FAKE LOVE,” the title song of BTS’ third full album LOVE YOURSELF 轉: Tear, exceeded 1.1 billion. The septet checked off the milestone around three years, 11 months, and four days after the track’s release on May 18, 2018.

In addition, “FAKE LOVE” becomes BTS’ sixth music video to achieve the 1.1 billion view count on YouTube. Other music videos of the group that previously obtained the record were “DNA,” “Boy With Luv (feat Halsey),” “Dynamite,” and “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix),” and “IDOL.” Notably, they also remain the only group around the world to obtain the milestone with six music videos.

Almost four years ago, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook received great attention all over the world with their captivating “FAKE LOVE” era. They scored the No.1 spot on the Billboard 200 with LOVE YOURSELF 轉: Tear for 15 consecutive weeks, making them the first Korean artist to top the chart. Their title track likewise entered the Hot 100 chart for six weeks in a row.

The music video for “FAKE LOVE,” which expresses the emotions of a dark parting after realizing a false love, catches the eye with the intense performance of BTS and the sensual and sophisticated visual beauty that goes back and forth between the colorful sets.
