The beloved maknae of Girls’ Generation continues to spread good influence.
Idol-turned-actress Seohyun extended support to vulnerable children by providing them with feminine hygiene products.
Earlier this month, her agency, Namoo Actors, shared that Seohyun donated a total of 17,000 sanitary pads to community child centers and childcare facilities through the Community Chest of Korea. The donation was made to help vulnerable social groups who need feminine hygiene products.
Currently, Seohyun is the brand model for Secret Day, a feminine hygiene product company, which also provided support for this donation.
The donated women’s products were distributed to a total of 31 organizations, including four organizations of the Nanum Employment Welfare Foundation, the Multicultural Family Support Center for Healthy Families in Uijeongbu, and the member organizations of the Uijeongbu Regional Children’s Center Association, and delivered to about 500 students from multicultural families and low-income families. This is expected to be of practical help to young people who have had to reduce the number of replacements or use alternative products because they cannot afford to use women’s products, which are essential for them due to economic difficulties.
This is not the first time that Seohyun extended assistance to those in need. In 2021, she donated 100 million won worth of feminine hygiene products to the non-governmental organization, Gfoundation.
Meanwhile, Seohyun is about to make a drama comeback. She will play Seulbi, the main character who has a mysterious ability to see the future of the person she touches in the new KBS drama Lovers of Jinx scheduled to air in the first half of this year. Afterward, a lot of attention is paid to her activities, who will show off his colorful charms by foretelling steady activities with the movie Holy Night: Demon Hunters and the Netflix series Rogue: The Sound of the Sword.
