BTS continues to hold the record as the group with the highest number of music videos to hit 300 million views!
Worldwide phenomenal K-pop boy group BTS has added “War of Hormone” to their list of music videos with 300 million views on the YouTube platform.
Earlier today, the septet’s music video for “War of Hormone” reached the 300-million mark on YouTube. It took them over seven years, six months, and seven days to achieve the impressive milestone.
RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook released the exciting hip-hop song through their debut studio album Dark & Wild on October 22, 2014. The song combines powerful rock guitar sounds and drums and is characterized by fresh lyrics saying that the reason your heart beats in front of the person you like is due to the action of hormones, and the rapping that unfolds like running on the beat.
The music video was produced with the “fake one-take technique,” in which each long-take scene was naturally connected and produced like a one-take. In particular, at the end of the video, you can feel the free-spirited and splendid performance of BTS by including the choreography with a 360-degree rotating camera.
Notably, “War of Hormone” became BTS’ 22nd overall music video to smash 300 million views. Other music videos of the group that previously obtained the record were “Dope,” “Blood Sweat & Tears,” “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix),” “DNA,” “Fire,” “Fake Love,” “Save Me,” “IDOL,” “Not Today,” “Boy With Luv,” “Boy In Luv,” “Spring Day,” “Dynamite,” “ON” (Kinetic Manifesto Film : Come Prima), “Life Goes On,” “Butter,” “Black Swan,” “Permission to Dance,” “ON,” J-Hope’s “Chicken Noodle Soup (Feat. Becky G), and Suga’s “Daechwita.”
