
Gearing towards being the 4th Generation Representative Group, IVE continues their Global Super Rookie wins.
As IVE wraps up its official promotions for its second single “LOVE DIVE”, their careers are at an all-time high. Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo were promoted for four weeks after making a comeback on May 5. They lit up their various stages while shining on the stage like runway models with their upgraded visuals and performance.
The group won first place on KBS2 TV’s “Music Bank” for three consecutive weeks earning them a “Triple Crown.” Jang Wonyoung, a member of the group, thanked their loyal fans for their continued support and love throughout their promotions.
Their mini-album, with the same name as their title track, conveys a confident and independent message about love. The song resonated with today’s youth with its dark, modern pop genre and addictive chorus.
Aside from the catchy melody, their dance breaks “Mirror Dance” and “Diving Dance” also became trending on various social media platforms. On the global short-form mobile video platform, TikTok, the “Love Dive Challenge” proves its popularity with 200 million views in a week.
The group charted on major Korean music sites like Bugs, Melon, and Genie at the same time as the album’s release. On YouTube, IVE surpassed 68 million views as of today. They are truly deserving of their six awards in music programs and they are currently at the top of the charts.
Based on the Hanteo Chart, “LOVE DIVE” achieved more than 330,000 initial sales a week after the release of the album. They doubled their initial sales record with their debut single “ELEVEN” released in 2021.
IVE has expanded its momentum not only at home but also abroad with rave reviews from Forbes Magazine. They are continually at the top of the global charts on Billboard, Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Oricon Chart, Line Music, and QQ Music.
