Welcome back, iKON!

Well-loved K-pop boy group iKON proved its global popularity by taking over the international music charts with their latest music release.

iKON made their comeback on May 3 at 6 PM KST with their fourth mini-album FLASHBACK, which is bannered by the title track “BUT YOU.” A day after its official release, their agency, YG Entertainment announced that the album already dominated the iTunes Top Albums chart and on major Japanese music sites.

In particular, FLASHBACK topped iTunes Top Album charts in 18 regions around the world, including Brazil, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, Indonesia, and Vietnam. In the United States, the world’s largest pop market, it also secured a high-rank at seventh place.

Additionally, iKON’s newest title track “BUT YOU” is especially popular in Japan as it ranked first in the real-time rankings of Rakuten Music and AWA.

In addition, the b-side songs “DRAGON,” “GOLD,” “FOR REAL?” and “NAME” all entered the line music charts and are receiving a lot of love.

Meanwhile, iKON will hold back-to-back concerts at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul on June 25 and 26. Notably, this is iKON’s first concert in about three years and six months. Moreover, they are confirmed to grace Japan with a total of six concert stops in July.
