Congratulations on #Love2ndWin, MONSTA X and MONBEBE!
MONSTA X continues their promotions for the 11th mini-album with a second win for the title track, “LOVE.”
On May 6, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M gathered to grace the Music Bank stage with a comeback performance that certainly had every viewer in awe of their excellence. In particular, Kihyun and Hyungwon’s outfits created huge attention, with their hard-earned physic captivating audiences during the performance.
The excitement increased when Music Bank‘s top song was announced for the first week of May. MONSTA X successfully holds the No.1 trophy in their arms for the recent masterpiece, “LOVE.”
Winning against (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon, who has recently debuted as a soloist, MONSTA X received a total score of 8,499.
A huge surprise was visible in the members’ expressions as soon as the results came in. Specifically, Joohoney offered his gratitude to fans and pointed out how SHAPE of LOVE was made especially for MONBEBE. “I’m really grateful that we won first place with the song that I worked on. I am honored to win first place with all my members and, of course, MONBEBE.”
Hyungwon also took the mic to convey his emotions about winning first place. “It’s a meaningful day that we are able to win first place in the presence of our fans. I’ll do my best for the rest of our promotions, and I’m also grateful to the staff who always work hard for us behind the scenes.”
MONSTA X then began the encore stage by expressing the members’ love for fans, shouting their signature chant, “We love you, MONBEBE!”
Meanwhile, MONSTA X has recently released its 11th mini-album, SHAPE of LOVE, on April 26 at 6:00 PM KST. Spearheaded by the track “LOVE,” the new album consists of six songs which are all participated by the producing line, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M.
