Oh My Girl’s Jiho reportedly parts ways with WM Entertainment, other members renew – Asian Junkie

Oh My Girl member Jiho has decided to not renew her contract with WM Entertainment and will look to continue her career elsewhere.
According to an exclusive report from Sports Kyunghyang, Jiho has decided not to stay with WM Entertainment following the expiration of her contract and will enter the free agent market in search of a new agency. Jiho and WM Entertainment reportedly support each others’ decision, and thus Jiho will leave the company. Jiho reportedly desires to broaden her spectrum as an artist and celebrity and many agencies have been courting her, hoping she joins them. It was also noted by Sports Kyunghyang that all other six members have decided to renew their contract.
The specifics of whether she’ll remain in the group aren’t known yet, though even when it does happen it rarely works out in the long term due to scheduling issues. WME has also yet to comment, much less confirm, but if they say some “we are still discussing favorably” type shit, she gone.
Update
Confirmed.
As alluded to in the translation, it seems she’s leaving Oh My Girl as well, as I can’t think of any other reason to clarify that the other six members of Oh My Girl will be Oh My Girl going forward.
