SHINee’s KEY, NCT Dream, WEi, And ALICE Set To Unveil Splendid Performances At “Begin Again: K-POP Edition Live Concert”

Prepare to witness the incredible talents and impressive on-stage charisma of some of your favorite idols, PH K-Pop fans! A live concert is set to happen soon to signal the new beginning for live shows in the country!

With hopes to deliver happiness and create exciting memories with their Filipino fans, SHINee’s KEY, NCT Dream, WEi, and Alice are set to visit the Philippines for the Begin Again: KPOP Edition live concert this May.

Presented by CDM Entertainment, the event will take place on May 29 at Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, starting at 5 PM PST.

According to CDM Entertainment, the two-hour music party marks the first live K-pop show in the Philippines since the pandemic struck in 2020.

Begin Again: KPOP Edition boasts a diverse lineup of artists. Headlining the show is none other than NCT Dream, who recently broke records and left a great impression among K-Pop fans with their second studio album Glitch Mode. The group did not only surpass 2.1 million first week sales with their latest offering, but also debuted on the US Billboard 200 chart.

Interestingly, NCT Dream was one of the last acts to hold a live stage in the Philippines in 2020. This makes fans more excited about interacting with the young group again in person in the upcoming show.

Performing alongside NCT Dream is Key, lead dancer and sub-vocalist of phenomenal boy group SHINee. Back in 2018, he made his solo debut with the full-length album Face and its title track “One of Those Nights.” After his discharge from the military in October 2020, Key engaged in various entertainment ventures and returned as a regular in tVN’s Amazing Saturday.

He released his first mini-album Bad Love and its lead single of the same name in September 2021, which earned him his first music show win as a soloist.

WEi, who debuted under OUI Entertainment in 2020, will also join the program as one of the performers. Comprised of six talented members, the group has been releasing riveting tracks falling under different genres. They made their debut with their first EP Identity: First Slight and had since released three extended plays featuring title tracks namely “All or Nothing,” “Bye Bye Bye,” and “Too Bad.”

Lastly, we have the 7-member girl group Alice, formerly known as Elris. They debuted in 2017 with their first EP We First. The transferred to IOK Company in 2021 and eventually adapted the group name Alice in April 2022 after undergoing rebranding.

Members Hyeseong and Bella changed their stage names to Yeonje and Do-A, respectively, while Chaejeong was appointed as the new leader. Alice released their digital single “Power of Love” earlier this month, which gained a favorable response from many K-Pop lovers.
