(G)I-DLE continues the success of their hit track, “TOMBOY”, releasing a brand new remix with renowned DJ, R3HAB.
(G)I-DLE made waves in the music scene with their first studio album, I Never Die, along with its title track “TOMBOY”. The confident, bold title song captivated listeners with its blunt lyrics and catchy chorus. Now, (G)I-DLE refreshes the release with a brand new remix with renowned DJ, R3HAB.
During every comeback, the group impresses fans with the wide array of colors the members reveal, earning them the moniker of “masters of concepts”. “TOMBOY” was no different and thrilled fans with its fierce, girl-crush appeal.
The quintet, comprised of members Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua, earned admirable achievements for their latest release. Among them, the group topped iTunes’ K-Pop genre chart in 30 regions, including in the US, UK, Germany, and France. Additionally, they swept the iTunes chart for all genres in five regions.
“TOMBOY” also ranked 58 on Billboard’s Global 200, 34 on Billboard’s Global Excl. US, and 12 on the World Digital Songs chart. As of writing, its music video surpassed 112 million views, illustrating their worldwide popularity.
Now, “TOMBOY” receives a new sound in the remix with DJ, R3HAB. R3HAB worked with other global stars including Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and The Chainsmokers. For his latest work with (G)I-DLE, R3HAB reinterprets the rock-based original into a unique electronic piece. They create a distinctive, addictive beat and powerful sound that creates remarkable synergy with the members’ unique voices.

Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE will also greet global fans during their recently-announced world tour. So far, the artists are scheduled to visit 16 regions including America as well as stops in Mexico City, Jakarta, Manila, Tokyo, and Singapore, with more to come.
