Lee Yoo Mi, Ong Seong Wu, Byun Woo Seok, And More To Lead “Strong Girl Do Bong Soon” Sequel
K-Drama fans are in for an exciting treat this 2022 from some of the most sought-after Korean actors today!
With aims to display their admirable acting skills and ability to pull off any character, Lee Yoo Mi, Ong Seong Wu, Byun Woo Seok, Kim Hae Sook, and Kim Jung Eun recently accepted the offers to star in an upcoming drama titled Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon.
Falling under the romantic comedy genre, the program is the sequel for the hit drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. It aired in 2016 with Park Bo Young, Park Hyung Sik, and Ji Soo as its lead stars. It follows the story of Do Bong Soon, a woman gifted with admirable superhuman strength. She then falls in love and hopes to achieve her dream of becoming a game designer.
The sequel titled Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon will tell the story of Do Bong Soon’s distant cousin Kang Nam Soon, who also has an admirable strength. Her mother Hwang Geum-joo and grandmother Gil Joong-gan also possess the same kind of power.
MEET THE LEAD STARS
Lee Yoo Mi, who recently delivered a wonderful performance as Ji Yeong and Lee Na Yeon in the popular Netflix dramas Squid Game and All of Us Are Dead, will portray the role of Kang Nam Soon, a whimsical and cheerful young woman with great strength She became a missing child in Mongolia and came to Gangnam to find her parents.
Viewers can anticipate how Lee Yoo Mi will portray such a cheerful and positive role, given that her previous roles were dark and melancholic.
Kim Jung Eun will play the character Hwang Geum Joo, a wealthy and righteous woman in Gangnam who has obsessively been doing good things in order to find her lost daughter, while veteran actress Kim Hae Sook will play Kang Nam Soon’s maternal grandmother Gil Joong Gan.

Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon is the brainchild of Baek Mi Kyung, who gave life to the drama Mine. It will be led by director Kim Jung Sik of “Work Later, Drink Now,” It will center on the reality of new drug crimes that takes place in Gangnam.
