Hats off to veteran actors Kang Soo Yeon and Ma Dong Seok for leading the brand reputation rankings for movie actors and actresses in May 2022!
Ending the month of May on a positive note, powerhouse actors Kang Soo Yeon and Ma Dong Seok definitely owns the spotlight by being the sought-after movie personalities.
Based on the recent report released by the Korean Business Research Institute, Kang Soo Yeon and Ma Dong Seok secured the first and second spots in the brand reputation rankings for movie actors and actresses this month.
The list provided by the organization is based on several factors including consumer participation, media coverage, and communication, interaction, and community awareness indices.
Notably, the institute was able to analyze 247,669,647 number of brand big data from 50 movie starts from April 28 to May 28. Compared to the 209,197,858 star brand big data in March, it increased by 18.39%.
A WELL-DESERVED REIGN
Dominating the list with great pride, actress Kang Soo Yeon, who passed away earlier this month due to cardiac arrest, acquired a brand reputation index of 13,847,666. It increased by 32.22 percent compared to their data back in March.
Specifically, they had a participation index of 2,693,002, a media index of 4,790,474, a communication index of 3,338,941, and a community index of 3,025,249. Compared to the star brand reputation index of 8,359,144 in March, it increased by 32.22%.
Some of the high-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis include “nation’s actress,” “world star,” and “Im Kwon Taek.” The words “pass away,” “condolences,” and “commemorate,” ” appeared in the list of her highest-ranking related terms.
Bagging the second place is South Korean-born American actor Ma Dong Seok. He obtained a brand reputation index of 10,524,326. Specifically, he had a participation index of 1,059,742, a media index of 4,891,511, a communication index of 2,152,697, and a community index of 2,420,376.
OTHER ARTISTS THAT CONQUERED THE MONTH OF MAY
Taking the third and fourth places are Kim Hye Soo and Liberation Notes star Son Suk Ku. The former superbly attained a brand reputation index of 10,478,151, while the latter obtained a brand reputation index of 9,635,599.
Demonstrating their astounding popularity, actors Lee Byung Hun and Lee Jung Jae scored the fifth and sixth spots. Meanwhile, Youn Yuh Jung, Son Ye Jin, Han Hyo Joo and Kim Da Mi placed sixth to tenth respectively.
